Elased One of my favourites from 2022. Melodic and hauntingly sad Doom Death Metal with a touch of Gothic and Progressive - the music is right on the point. And the singer is a master of his craft! Favorite track: A Ghost In My Arms.

Sometimes I envy the finality of death, the certainty. And I have to drive away those thoughts, that invade me. We will never get used to the Lord’s winding ways, I advance. Towards this path which has been traced for me. Foggy, swampy, mysterious and unhealthy, your life between two clearings reminds you that everything can darken. The once providential horizon now looks like an opal. Sticky fog, devoid of faith. Brutal and abject, we may know that death is part of life. But we are never really prepared for it. Between two clearings, life reminds us that everything can get dark, abandoned by the light, the once providential horizon now resembles an opal fog, sticky and devoid of faith.

Opal Insight is part of this atmosphere.
A dark death metal, melancholic and earthy emanating from limbo.
In line with a distress to a Swallow The Sun, a rough and harsh Opeth of the 2000s.
